Emeritus ONLY Telephone Registration

*Telephone Registration is ONLY available for enrolling in EMERITUS courses.


  1. All delinquencies, such as fee deferments, library holds, etc. must be cleared before you register. 

  2. If you have moved recently, you may update your information by logging into MySite. Your Permit to Register is sent to the current mailing address on file.

  3. If you are no longer a non-resident student, please submit a residency proof at the Admissions & Records Office at least ten days before you use Telephone Registration.

  4. If eligible for a fee waiver, apply at the Financial Aid Office at least ten days before you use Telephone Registration.


 

  1. Use only a touch-tone telephone to register (cordless telephones will not always work). Touch-tone telephones make a tone sound after each button is pushed.

  2. Listen carefully to the instructions. The Telephone Registration system will guide you after each entry. DO NOT HANG UP UNTIL YOU HAVE COMPLETED STEP 8.

  3. Complete the Telephone Registration Worksheet BEFORE you call. It is available from the Emeritus Institute at (949) 582-4835.

  4. You will be informed of closed classes, time conflicts, lab/lecture requirements, waiting lists, and eligibility over the telephone.

  5. Please have alternate course section numbers ready since some classes may be closed when you enter your request. 

Students are responsible for dropping any course(s) they no longer want. Failure to drop from a course(s) may result in a failing grade (be aware of dates to drop with a refund).

You may pay by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover cards), check, money order, or by cash. Payment must be received within FIVE business days after you complete telephone registration or you may be dropped from your courses.

YOU WILL NOT BE BILLED. A confirmation of enrollment will be mailed once payment is received.
