Welcome to Honors@Saddleback
The Honors Program at Saddleback College is a portfolio of courses that span many academic disciplines. Each course is designed to develop exceptional talent and ability in highly motivated students.
With few exceptions, the courses are fully transferable, and many are written at the survey/introductory level so that students in virtually every major can participate in the Honors Program while making continuous good progress toward graduation and transfer.
Students may elect to participate in one or two Honors classes that happen to fit their interests, or they may plan to complete the entire Program. Every completed Honors course is noted as such on transcripts. Students who complete the Program requirements in good standing earn Honors Program notation on their transcripts, receive recognition at graduation, and are eligible for special transfer opportunities.
You do not need to participate in the Honors Program in order to be a member of any of the honor societies on campus such as Alpha Gamma Sigma, Psi Beta, or Phi Theta Kappa, or to be graduated with academic honors.
As of June 27, 2008, this page is under construction for updates. Anticipated completion July 11, 2008. For information on the Honors Program please use honors@saddleback.edu. Thank you for your patience.
