Overview: This Learning Block covers chapters 9-12. We will begin with a look at the early national period and end with a review of the system of slavery. There are detailed Study Guides posted below for each respective chapter of this Learning Block. You can also find Powerpoints for each four chapters in the Nash book located below. Finally, a link to each of the respective episodes of the video series "A Biography of America" is provided below. The informatioin provided here is reflected in the course syllabus. Please see the Syllabus Hst 22 for due dates of each of the respective discussion boards, quizzes and exams.

A Biography of America (video series): After registration (takes about five minutes) students may stream each of the respective 1/2 hour video episodes. This series is to be used in conjunction with the Forum Discussion Boards. Each respective episode is noted in the class schedule (located on the course syllabus).
