      Welcome

Surveys principles and problems of politics and government in the  United States and globally.  Familiarizes students with the basic systems and theories, ideologies, and models of political analysis. Focuses on issues of power, freedom, justice, and property.  Special topics include area studies and the issues of ethnicity and gender in political structures.
