Workshop Title: Student Learning Outcomes Made Easy

Student-Learning Outcomes –better known as the infamous SLOs– have become the new buzzword at college campuses.
What are “Student Learning Outcomes” really? And, more importantly, how can they help you reframe teaching to better address student learning.
By completing the short step-by-step online workshop Student-Learning Outcomes Made Easy, you will learn a valuable skill that will enhance your ability to successfully incorporate student learning outcomes into your courses. This workshop is quick, interactive and can be finished at your convenience from your own home computer.

It is imperative the both full-time and part-time faculty work with their respective department chairperson to ensure that all course level SLOs be submitted by August 22, 2008 for every course listed in the 2008 - 2009 catalog. The College is at risk of losing its accreditation if we continue to ignore efforts to create and implement SLOs both on the course and program level.
