John Glaudini, Associate Faculty

John Glaudini was recently musical director for the Musical Theatre Guild’s production of Aspects of Love, and he conducted the Kurt Weill opera, Street Scene, for the company last year. He began his career working for composer Stephen Flaherty on the shows Lucky Stiff, Ragtime, Seussical and the film Anastasia. He has since worked in the music departments of many shows including Legally Blonde, Spamalot, Bounce and A New Brain. Mr. Glaudini has been arranger/orchestrator and/or music director for the following productions: Andrew Lippa’s A Little Princess (CCA), Altar Boyz (MTW-LA Drama Critics Circle nomination for Musical Direction), Heaven Help Us (Florida Stage; Denver Center), The Prince and the Pauper (Lamb’s Theatre), I Love a Piano (Denver Center, Florida Stage, MTW), Pete ‘n’ Keely (John Houseman). Mr. Glaudini also co-wrote the revues, Are We There Yet? A Christmas Survival Guide and I Love New York (1998 NY Bistro Award for Best Revue). He is a member of the Dramatist Guild and alumni of the BMI Workshop in New York City.

Mr. Glaudini will be teaching TA 19, Rehearsal and Performance: Musical Theatre for Musical Theatre Direction at Saddleback College. He is also looking forward to being Musical Director for the Department of Theatre Arts spring musical, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.
