A letter from your Fearless Leader:

Hello and welcome to Inter Club Council!  Whether you’re a new or returning club, I would like to thank you for choosing to be an active part of this campus.  I know we are going to have a great year here at Saddleback College. Clubs are the lifeblood of any campus, in which students are able to express their interests and share it with others.  Likewise, it’s by joining a club that students are able to make great connections in their school and community.  It’s this other aspect of college life that makes continued education that much better.  For life is not only about grades and GPA, it’s about the lives we interact with and the people we inspire.  ICC plans to provide a variety of events for your clubs to gain a stronger following.  All that I ask is that you take a chance and look for opportunities.  Hold events, invite speakers, and always remember to have fun while doing it.  Your goal should be to make Saddleback College a better place to be for not only yourself, but everyone.  I know that a club takes a lot of commitment and involvement, but I assure you that I and my fellow ICC officers are here to help.  Also, this handbook should hold the answers to many of your questions.  In an attempt to be more thorough, everything your club should know is located within these pages.  I want to thank you again for choosing to be an active part of this campus.  It is through a club that you will have the opportunity to make a difference.  So get out there and do something amazing.

ICC Duties:

• Plan and organize club fairs
• Plan campus events (Black History Month, Persian New Year, Multi-Cultural Month and Earth Day)
• Vote on how to use ICC funds
• Attend weekly meetings to inform on club activities
• Must turn in officer reports both written and verbal.

Mandatory Club Orientation Schedule:

One club member and the club's advisor must attend one of these orientation sessions in order for the club to become active. Please RSVP for one of these dates by e-mailing Erin Long at emaremont@saddleback.edu.

ICC Meetings are held the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of each month at 2pm in SSC 212.

ICC Executive Board Meetings are held every Thursday at 2pm in SSC 211-1.
