Welcome

The Automotive Technology programs are designed to prepare students for employment as Automotive Technicians. Students may also complete their Associate in Science requirements and prepare to transfer to a four-year college. Training is given in both theory and practical skills in the operation, maintenance, and repair of all types of automotive systems.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Grease monkeys are out… Automotive Technicians are in. Excellent opportunities exist in the automotive field for mechanically inclined, people-oriented men and women who like to solve problems. Entry-level Automotive Technician positions at dealerships and independent shops are plentiful for skilled, motivated graduates of Saddleback’s auto tech program. Advancement to supervisory and management positions is possible for people with leadership abilities. Visit our Student Support page for career resources.
