Conatser wins state hammer crown
In what seemed like a formality for most of the season, finally became a reality on Saturday when Remy Conatser won the state title the hammer throw at the state track & field championships at Cerritos College. Conatser battled though a nagging injury in besting the competition for a comfortable win.

Women’s T&F has best finish in 26 years
The Saddleback women’s track & field team picked a great time to get hot, saving their best for last in finishing in sixth place at the California Community College State Track & Field Meet on Friday and Saturday at Cerritos College. The Gauchos had a number of top-6 performances at the state meet after finishing ninth in Southern California a week earlier.

Golston and Marsing sign deals with 4-year programs
The Saddleback men’s basketball program announced this week that both Devin Golston and Nate Marsing have signed letters of intent at four-year programs. Golston will continue his career at Dominican University while Marsing will play his final three seasons at Westmont College.

Murphy has a top-25 finish at state finals
Saddleback freshman men’s golfer Riley Murphy finished off his first season with the Gauchos with a solid finish at the state finals in Santa Maria on Monday afternoon. Murphy finished in a tie for 24th place in the state, the highest finish for a Saddleback player since 2008.
