Gilder comes to Saddleback College from the College of Southern Idaho, where he played in 2008. Originally from Montana, Gilder was a four-sport star at Butte High School where he was an all-state selection in basketball and track and was an all-conference player in football. Gilder is the son of former major league pitcher Robb Nen and was a 40th round draft pick of the Philadelphia Phillies in 2007. He plans to major in Criminology
