Whieldon returns to Saddleback College as a sophomore after playing in four games for the Gauchos in 2008. Previous to Saddleback, Whieldon posted a 3-0 record with a 1.90 ERA as a senior at Trabuco Hills High School in 2006. His father Randy played basketball at UC Irvine and was a 10th round draft pick of the Golden State Warriors in 1982. His cousin Jason Whieldon played football at Saddleback and later for the University of Hawaii. Whieldon plans to major in Business. |
