Whyte returns to Saddleback College for his sophomore season after a solid freshman campaign, when he started 43 games for the Gauchos. Previous to Saddleback, Whyte played baseball at tesoro High School where he was a First team All-South Coast League selection as a senior when he batted .406 and set the school record for fielding percentage. Whyte has already committed to play baseball at UC Santa Barbara following the 2009 season at Saddleback. He plans to major in Business/Economics. |
