Comes to Saddleback from Indiana University where he batted .303 in 46 games for the Hoosiers, making the All-Big 10 Tournament Team in helping Indiana win the tournament championship. Previous to Indiana, Gonzalez graduated from Mission Viejo High School in 2008, breaking the RBI record as a junior in 2007 and earning All-South Coast League recognition. He is undecided on a major.
