11 RHP 6'0 170 Freshman Left/Right Aliso Niguel

Comes to Saddleback from Chico State where he didn't play baseball in 2009. Previous to Chico State, Helmkamp graduated from Aliso Niguel High School in 2008, earning First Team All-South Coast League recognition and playing on the Orange County All State Team. He plans to major in criminal justice.
