Returns to Saddleback for his sophomore season after playing in eight games for the Gauchos in 2010, pitching 11.2 innings. Previous to Saddleback, Parvin graduated from
Northwood High School, where he was the pitcher of the year as a senior and a second team All-Sea View League selection. His brother, Sean, played at Saddleback and now plays at Penn State. His cousin, Kyle, is a retired football player for the Seattle Seahawks. Parvin plans to major in political science.
