Returns to Saddleback for his sophomore season in 2010 after batting .382 as a freshman in 41 games in 2009. Previous to Saddleback, Parvin redshirted at UC Irvine in 2008. He graduated from Northwood High School in 2007, winning the Team MVP award as a freshman in 2004. He was the offensive player of the year in 2005, an All-Pacific Coast League selection in 2006 and sat out his senior season with mononucleosis. Parvin's cousin (Kyle Williams) is an offensive lineman for the Seattle Seahawks and he plans to major in criminology.
