Comes to Saddleback for his sophomore season from College of the Canyons, where he played in 22 games for the Cougars, batting .359 for the season. Pugmire was a First Team All-Western States League selection in 2010, and made the Dean's List at COC. Previous to Canyons, Pugmire played at Canyon High School, where he earned best-defensive-player honors before graduating in 2008. He plans to major in history.
