7 OF 5'10 175 Sophomore Left/Left Rancho Alamitos

Returns to Saddleback as a sophomore in 2010 after batting .332 in 49 games as a freshman in 2009, leading the Gauchos with 64 hits, 14 doubles and 12 stolen bases. Previous to Saddleback, Vertigan graduated from Rancho Alamitos High School in 2008, earning all league hojnors three times and being named league MVP as a senior in 2008. He is undecided on a major.
