Chris Connolly

Returns to Saddleback for his sophomore season after playing in six games for the Gauchos as a freshman in 2010, totaling 11 tackles and two quarterback hurries. Previous to Saddleback, Connolly graduated from Capistrano Valley High School, where he lettered before graduating in 2009. Connolly led the South Coast League in tackles for loss and recorded 77 tackles and 11 sacks as a senior. He was recently named to the JCGridiron.com preseason linebacker watch list for 2011. His godfather, Sam "The Bam" Cunningham, was a former USC Trojan and New England Patriot. Connolly plans to major in criminal justice.
