Returns to Saddleback for his sophomore season after playing in seven games for the Gauchos as a freshman in 2008.  Previous to Saddleback, he attended Western Oregon University after graduating from Mililani High School in Hawaii.  He lettered in both football and basketball at Mililani and is the first member of his family to participate in college athletics.
