Comes to Saddleback from Basic High School in Nevada where he was an All-Sunrise League selection as a senior in 2008 when he finished with 62 tackles and one sack. He lettered in football for four years at Basic and is related to former NFL players Tyrone Montgomery (Raiders 93-94) and Wilbert Montgomery (Lions, Eagles, 1977-85).
