Returns to Saddleback for his sophomore season after playing in five games for the Gauchos in 2008.  Previous to arriving at Saddleback, he graduated from Lincoln High School in Florida before attending Truckee Meadows Community College in Reno, Nevada.  Owens plans to major in either business or film production.
