Akoni Lasconia

Akoni is another veteran linebacker on this year’s team, making 36 stops with three sacks and 4 ½ tackles for lost yardage.  While prepping at Grossmont HS in La Mesa he played football and ran track, earning all-league honors as both a linebacker and running back.  He also earned all-league honors in track as a sprinter.  The sociology major played football on the same team as Reggie Bush for five seasons.
