Returns to Saddleback for her sophomore season after playing for the Gauchos in 2010, finishing third on the team with 14 points (6 goals, 2 assists) in being named First Team All-Orange Empire Conference. Previous to Saddleback, Marquez lettered in soccer before graduating from Tesoro High School in 2010. Her sister, Lauren, played soccer at San Diego State University. Marquez plans to major in communications.
