Head Coach NICK TRANI
 Head Coach Nick Trani took over the softball program prior to the 1995 season, guiding the Gauchos to their first post-season berth in seven seasons. In 20 seasons of coaching women's intercollegiate softball, Trani has guided his teams to a post-season appearance 13 times, including five regional championships and five berths in the state finals. Saddleback captured Southern California regional championship titles following the 1996 and 1999 seasons when they were also state runners-up. A four-time conference Coach of the Year, Trani has accumulated over 500 victories during his career and is the winningest softball coach in the history of both the Orange Coast and Saddleback college programs.
