Returns to Saddleback for her sophomore season after a solid freshman campaign when she was a force both on the mound and at the plate for the Gauchos. Bertoglio led the Gaucho pitching staff with a 17-12 record, pitching 21 complete games with a 3.12 ERA. She was also a leader on offense, batting .343 and tying for the team lead with 11 home runs while earning All-Orange Empire Conference recognition. Previous to Saddleback, Bertoglio played at Laguna Hills High School, where she was the team Defensive Player-of-the-Year
in 2010 and a second team All-Pacific Coast Conference selection. Bertoglio was a 3-time scholar athlete at LHHS and is a classically trained pianist for 14 years. She plans to major in criminal justice.
