Returns to Saddleback for her sophomore season after a fine freshman season when she was named second team All-Orange Empire Conference. Gutierrez finished third on the team in 2011 with a .342 batting average, tying for the team lead in home runs (11) and finishing second in runs scored (40). She came to Saddleback from Trabuco Hills High School, where she earned First Team All-Sea View League selection in 2007 and 2009 and a second team selection in 2010. Gutierrez plans to major in health science.
