Returns to Saddleback as a sophomore in 2010 after a sensation freshman season for the Gauchos in 2009 when he was the conference champion in javelin and discus and finished second at the state meet in the javelin. Lian was the Orange empire Conference Field-Athlete-of-the-Year in 2009 and earned All America status. Previous to Saddleback, Lian lettered in track & field at Fallbrook High School where he was the Avacado League champion in the discus before graduating in 2008. He plans to major in history. |
