Returns to Saddleback for her sophomore season after playing for the Gauchos in 2009. Kavanaugh played in 66 games for Saddleback in 2009, leading the team in aces (19) and blocks (67) while finishing second with 176 kills. Kavanaugh graduated from Dana Hills High School in 2009 where she was a second team All-South Coast League selection. She plans to major in environmental studies.
