5'9 Freshman Santa Margarita

Comes to Saddleback College from Santa Margarita High School where she lettered in tennis and track & field before graduating in 2009. While at SMCHS, she played two seasons of tennis and one season of track & field, earning most improved in T&F and making the academic honor roll four times. Hertel comes from a family of athletes as her grandfather was drafted by the Yankees, her father played AAA baseball and her uncle played for the Philadelphia Eagles. Hertel plans to major in film.
