Distance 5'7 Sophomore Tesoro

Returns for her sophomore season at Saddleback after competing for the Gauchos as a freshman in 2010. In addition to track % field, Owens was part of the cross country team at Saddleback during the fall, earning All-Orange Empire Conference recognition, finishing 52nd at the state finals.

Owens came to Saddleback Tesoro High School where she lettered in both track & field and cross country before graduating in 2009. While at THS, she set the school record in the 800 meters as a senior for the Titans. Owens plans to major in either communications or business.
