Throws 5'10 Sophomore Trabuco Hills

Returns to Saddleback for her sophomore season after a sensational freshman campaign for the Gauchos in 2011. During the 2011 season, Stanwood became the second best performer in program history in the discus (142' 7") and the fourth best performer in the hammer throw (106' 2"). She came to Saddleback from Trabuco Hills High School where she lettered in both track & field and basketball before graduating in 2009. Stanwood was a team captain for two years and made it to the CIF finals for three straight years, winning the Coach's Award and the Most Dedicated Award for the Mustangs. She plans to major in nursing.
