Rachel Novelli

Returns to Saddleback for her sophomore season after playing for the Gauchos in 2010, finishing with 14 goals and seven assists. In addition to water polo, Novelli was a part of the Saddleback swim team this past spring. Previous to Saddleback, Novelli graduated from Laguna Hills High School in 2010.  She lettered in water polo and swim while in high school and has received many awards.  She was the 2006 most valuable player for her frosh/soph swim team, 2007’s most improved player, 2008’s swim coach’s award, 2009’s “captain” award, and in 2010 her water polo team was voted “best defense”.  Not only is Rachel an outstanding athlete but she is a great student.  While at Irvine Valley College for a year, Novelli averaged a 4.0 GPA. She plans to major in business administration.
