Brian Devaney has been teaching for about 30 years, from elementary to adults. He received his Bachelors and Masters from UCLA and practically bleeds blue and gold. He taught first at Palisades Elementary and was then asked to be the district's Technology Resource Teacher, responsible for training teachers on how to include technology in their instruction. He opened Aliso Niguel High School in 1994 as a member of its planning committee where he originated the district's first Video Production and TV Journalism programs. He was also on the planning committee that opened San Juan Hills High School where he currently teaches Video Production, TV Journalism, Computer Graphics and Film Studies.
