Junior Gauchos is a collaborative outreach effort between the Community Education and Outreach Departments. The purpose of the program is to build a strong network of members from all local public and private schools with Saddleback College. Our goal is to bring the college experience to more youngsters in our community throughout the year and to encourage them to think about college as the next step after high school.
The Junior Gauchos program partners with elementary and middle schools to meet their needs by offering fun and educational programs. Activities include Junior Gauchos Days, athletic events, fine arts performances, campus tours, division/department specific tours, school visits, student presentations, giveaways, scholarships, and more.
