Transfer Counseling

Bachelor Degrees

In order to obtain a bachelor degree you must transfer to a university.  A minimum of 120 units are required to include major preparation, major, general education and electives courses. Typically completion of this degree requires 4-5 years of full-time study. Students may complete their lower division course (freshman and sophomore years) at a community college and then transfer to a university to complete their upper division courses (junior and senior years). Saddleback College courses numbered 1-199 transfer to CSU and courses numbered 1-99 transfer to UC (with some exceptions).  Transferable courses to in state private and out of state universities will vary.  Please see a counselor for more details.
