COOPERATIVE WORK EXPERIENCE (CWE)

Types of Programs:

CWE involves supervised employment extending classroom learning at an on-the-job learning station related to the student's educational or career goals. This work experience may be paid or unpaid.  If you are currently working in the field of your major, those work hours can also be used to fulfill the program requirements. You can also search for internships on Gaucho Jobs and ask for advice from your instructors.   Cooperative work experience is offered to students majoring in the areas listed below.

Work experience is offered under the following plan:

CWE 180

Students will be enrolled in the appropriate CWE class according to their college major or into the CWE class that pertains to their particular internship specialty. CWE 180 is the course number that is used for all CWE classes offered through Saddleback College regardless of their unit value.
