DE Logo Helpful Definitions

DE icon Full Distance Ed Classes:

Classes offered entirely through alternative means of instruction (other than traditional on-campus lectures) that do NOT include any on-campus component.

hybrid icon Hybrid Classes:

Classes which are conducted mostly through an alternative means of instruction (at least 50% of the class is offered as Distance Education) but ALSO have a traditional on-campus component.

Television Radio Icon Online / TV / Radio:

Various methods of presenting Distance Education classes different than traditional on-campus lectures (see DE Handbook for more about each type of DE media).
