Student Online Course and Email Information

ONLINE COURSE INFORMATION

You will NOT be able to access an online course until
after the course orientation, if one is offered for your class,
or after the beginning of the semester in which it is offered.

Instructors upload class rosters every few days the first two weeks of the semester;
it may take a few days before your information will be uploaded into the class,
especially if you did not register at least 15 days prior to the class start date.

You will need to know your Saddleback e-mail address.   To look up your e-mail address, go to  http://www.saddleback.edu , click on "Library" (in the left-hand column)   Click on "Directory" and enter your own name, click on "Search."

Once your instructor has uploaded the class roster into the online course,
access your course at URL http://socccd.blackboard.com

EMAIL INSTRUCTIONS

Note:  The college email server is slow, especially at the beginning of a semester; please be patient.

For the latest information about how to use the student email accounts, studens should go to  http://www.socccd.org/email  and read "Your Email Information."

If you are still experiencing difficulties with email (email only, NOT Blackboard),  you may contact Eric Garant at egarant@saddleback.edu .  DO NOT CONTACT ERIC FOR PROBLEMS WITH BLACKBOARD!.  Please include your full name, your user name if you know it, your PIN or last four digits of your Social Security number, and telephone number. Eric will check for problems and contact you as quickly as possible.
