COURSE DESCRIPTION

Examines the fundamentals of the development and practice of sexuality in the human being and the historical, psychological, and psychosocial aspects of human sexuality from childhood to old age, including human sexual anatomy, fulfillment differences between males and females, sexual dysfunction and corrective therapy.

STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
1. Describe the multi-faceted and complex nature of human sexuality.

2. Integrate the interaction of the biological bases with the psychological and historical influences in our society.

3. Trace the development of human sexuality from childhood to old age.

4. Compare the variations in sexuality across social classes, ethnic groups, other cultures and other species.

Final Exam - Chapter 10, 17 Entire Semester - 100 questions

All quizzes are multiple choice.  A scantron and pencil will be required.

There are no make-up tests scheduled for missed quizzes.

ACADEMIC DISHONESTY

Cheating of any sort will not be tolerated. Any student who is caught cheating will receive a zero on that assignment of exam. Cheating includes, but is not limited to:
· Looking at another student's paper during an exam
· Using any notes/electronic devices not approved by me during an exam
· Talking to another student about test material during an exam
· Plagiarism - Using someone else's words or ideas, and presenting them as your own

OUTSIDE ASSIGNMENT - (SEE DISCUSSION TOPICS)
The outside assignment will be graded on a pass/fail basis.  If no outside assignment is completed, your final grade will be lowered.

ATTENDANCE
If you miss more than 6 or more class sessions you can be dropped from the course. Attendance/tardiness will be evaluated in the final grade.  When tardy, it is the student's responsibility to contact the instructor for purposes of the roll.
