Practicum II -
Muscles
October
13, 2009 The
test is entirely written.
Practicum III -
Circulatory System
November 10, 2009
The test is partially written and partially multiple choice. There will
be 100
questions. This test will cover the circulatory system, fetal
circulation, the heart, brain, eye, and ear. A Scan-Tron
form 882 is needed.
Practicum IV -
Tissues and
Organs
December
10, 2009 This
last practicum is entirely multiple
choice. It will cover all of the histology presented during the
semester
and the organs of the cat and human. A Scan-Tron form 882 is
needed.
Missed Practicums
A missed practicum
will count
as a zero unless one of the two steps below is taken:
- If a practicum is missed
altogether, there must be a legitimate and serious explanation
(doctor's note, etc.). If such an explanation is provided and
accepted you will NOT be allowed to take a make-up but will be given a
score equal to the lowest score you receive on any practicum. Also, I
must be satisfied that you were making good progress towards the exam
by having been in attendance regularly and having participated in all
of the labs for the specific practicum. If you subsequently
miss a second practicum for ANY reason, that exam will be scored a zero
and
since it will be your lowest score, the previously missed exam will
also become a zero.
- Every student must take the last
practicum, as scheduled to avoid a "zero".
Lecture Tests
September 29, 2009 - Lecture Test 1 -
Bring a scan-tron form 882 to every lecture test along with a pencil
October 29, 2009 - Lecture Test 2
December 8, 2009 - Lecture Test 3
December 15, 2009 - Final Exam
Only 1 missed exam is allowed per student, whether it is a lecture or
lab exam!
A second missed examed will be scored as a zero.
