The Saddleback Child Development Center is the primary location for the lab hours. Local Mentor Teacher sites are the alternative.
To arrange lab hours contact the Lab Coordinator Laura Vidal-Prudholme

lvidalprudholme@saddleback.edu
Other locations may be approved by instructor. Students must submit an Alternative Site Placement Request during the first week of class in order to have their request considered (Deliver to my office BGS 115, scan and attach to an email, or mail to me at 28000 Marguerite Pkwy Mission Viejo, CA)
Incomplete requests will not be considered.
Proof of negative TB results are a requirement for beginning lab hours. If you already have a negative test that is good through the duration of the course, take a copy to the health center and they will give you a clearance slip to bring to the first meeting of class. Otherwise appointments may be made with the Saddleback Student Health Center to have your test done a no charge.
Note:
This course is a full 3 unit course taught on a compressed 8 week schedule. All of the reading and assignments that would normally be spread over a 16 week time frame are still required. If you are planning your time, you need to plan double the amount of time per week for an 8 week class than you would for a 16 week course. I recommend that students take no more than two 8 week courses at a time.
