Teaching Philosophy:

I am committed to creating an interactive, engaging learning environment.

I frequently utilize visual media in the classroom including popular films, television, documentaries, and scientific research footage. In addition, I support 'active learning' initiatives like class activities, presentations, in-class discussions for constructing and/or building knowledge. These ideas translate into online courses  via discussion board debates, web-based video and YouTube lectures.
