Class Policies
Attendance is the single most important factor of course as it is a communication course. College policy states may drop with 6 hrs cumulative absence. will deduct 20 points for each absence after 6 hours. Will add 10 points for no more than 3 hrs absence.
Assignments are due at beginning of class on due date. There is no make up or extra credit. If you must miss class mail assignment on due date & phone instructor.
Read the text to compliment lectures. Take notes. Ask questions. CShallenge research.
Since this is new area of study with possibility of volatile & defensive rather that objectivity & cooperation, an open mind and sense of humor is a requirement.
May sign up on “credit/no credit” option. You are responsible for doing that in the admissions office in first third of class.
