Subjects

Welcome to the Saddleback Math Online Resources webapp. Whether you are taking a math class atSaddleback College, taking a math class at another college or high school, or need to refresh your math skills for a business or science class, we have free tools that can help. At this time we can offer four types of study materials: videos, video worksheets, class notes, and a study guide. Not all components are available for every topic.

Videos

Perhaps our most popular tools are the video lectures. Attend Professor Perez's lectures alongside his favorite student, Charlie. Each lecture focuses on a particular skill set. (Note: YouTube limits the length of video clips so these lectures often have to be split into two or three parts.)

Video Worksheets

Every video is accompanied by a worksheet so that you can work along with Charlie during the video. This kind of active learning process is a particularly good way to increase retention.

Class Notes

Charlie isn't the best note-taker, but fortunately for him (and for us), his friend Candice is. She has loaned her comprehensive notes on every lecture to Charlie and you can see them here.

Study Guide

The study guide was developed by Professor Perez and Patrick Quigley specifically for the California State University Entry-Level Math Exam, but many other college placement exams cover similar materials. For each major topic covered by the exam, you will find a summary of the basic theory, example problems, and practice problems with solutions.
