My name is Tamar Bedolfe and I was born
and raised in the Netherlands. I graduated
from "Magister Vocat" Teachers College in
Amsterdam where I majored in Mathematics
and Physical Education. Upon graduation I
was an elementary school teacher. I later
taught in Bolivia and Mozambique and then
moved to California. In 2004, after taking all
the math classes Saddleback College offered, I

Before coming to Saddleback, I spent fifteen years working in the corporate world. I had always wanted to be a nurse, but providing for my family came before my dreams. Eventually, I was able to reduce my hours to part time so I could follow my heart. Three years ago I began this journey here at Saddleback to become a nurse. In my off time I like to cook, scrapbook, read, watch science fiction, and spend time with family and friends. I also love to camp and ride off-road motorcycles, but as a student, I have had to put those hobbies on hold.
