Do not buy the textbook and software before the first class!

You need access to a computer with the loaded software.  For Fall 2008 we may be able to offer the software to students free of charge.  Come to the first class before you buy the software and textbook.  Stay tuned for more information.

The class will use ArcGIS Desktop version 9.2.  You can work with version 9.1 but you will need to make some modifications throughout the semester.   Version 9.1 is not and will not be supported on VISTA.

There are two computers with ArcGIS 9.2 in the Learning Assistance Program (LAP) in the lower level of the Library. The LAP is not open on the weekends.   

You will also need a flash drive.  All work done in class will be erased from the classroom computers when you log out.  You need some way to save your files.
