WELCOME


Ron Hastings began teaching Adapted Physical Education at Saddleback College in 1980. He has a long history of teaching disabled students in water exercise, swimming, strength training, stretching and sports activities classes for wheelchairs and other disabled. He also teaches students that are interested in pursuing careers in therapy and rehabilitation. His outside interests include surfing, golf, biking, hiking and skiing.


ADAPTED KINESIOLOGY


INTRO TO THERAPY AND REHAB

Students that are interested in helping and caring careers in Physical, Occupational, Speech, Recreation, Respiratory and Massage Therapy; Nursing, Special Education and Sports Medicine, or other areas that assist disabled populations would be interested in this hands on class.

Students will have the opportunity to get hands on experience during the semester and learn more about what steps to take for transferring.

ADAPTED KINESIOLOGY ASSISTING

This class provides practical experience for students that have taken SE 101 or that wish to help out in our Adapted Water Exercise and Swimming, Adapted Personal Fitness and/or Adapted Sports and Outdoor Recreation Classes.
