A concert with storyteller/musician Angela Lloyd, featuring stories, poetry,
washboard and piano music. "Eclectic, tasty and fun!"

"Awakenings--Women and Creativity":
With Janet Sage, composer/artist/singer. A reflective look at women driven to
express their passion through music, painting, writing and performing. An unusual
performance with music, art, slides and more, featuring the experience and works
of 12th-century abbess Hildegard von Bingen, 19th-century concert pianist Clara Schumann,
and concluding with a performance of Janet Sage's own multi-media composition,
"The Dawning of a Woman."

"Portraits of Women in Poetry and Song": With Juliette Singler, D.M.A., soprano.
A concert of mostly women's poetry set to mostly women's music,
including music of Francesca Caccini, Clara Schumann, Marianne Martinez, Louise
Beach, Libby Larsen, Margaret Bonds, Brent Pierce and others and writings of
Calamity Jane, Emily Dickinson, Edna St. Vincent Millay, Dorothy Parker and others.
