The purpose of the Trio Sirena is to present chamber music written by women composers. The Trio's repertoire includes works by these composers:

Kay Pech Anshutz is an Associate Professor of Chamber Music at Saddleback College, conductor of the String Ensemble at Cal Poly-Pomona, founder of the Chamber Music Institute/Southern California for young players, and coach of adult chamber music seminars on the west coast. A free-lance musician, she has performed as a violinist and violist throughout the United States and with many of the regional orchestras in Southern California. Kay holds the Master of Music degree in Viola Performance from the University of Iowa, where she studied with William Preucil, and she did graduate work in violin at the University of Southern California with Eudice Shapiro. Her violin was made in 1981 by Rena Weisshaar.

Manon Robertshaw Trent has toured Europe and North America as soloist, orchestra principal, and Chamber musician. This last June she toured with the California EAR Unit to Denmark, and performed in their series at the Bing Theater at the Los Angeles Museum of Art. Manon is also a member of the Ceremonial Sounds, and performs her own compositions. Manon studied with Gabor Rejto at the University of Southern California, and she received the Master of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, where she was a teaching assistant for the Fine Arts Quartet. She coaches chamber music for the Chamber Music Institute/Southern California.

Rebecca Rollins is a Professor of Music at Saddleback College, where she teaches piano, music history and "Women, Music and Society." She received the Master of Arts degree in Music History from the University of Minnesota and the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance from the Claremont Graduate University, where she studied with John Steele Ritter. As a performer and as a researcher, Rebecca has been specializing in the works of women composers for several years. Her new recording, Playing the Ivory Moon, includes solo piano music by six women composers.
